TRC20 Withdrawal Address: Everything You Need to Know
Entering the correct withdrawal address is the single most important step when transferring USDT on the TRC20 network. A single character error can result in permanent loss of funds.
What Does a TRC20 Address Look Like?
Every TRC20 (TRON) wallet address is exactly 34 characters long and always begins with the capital letter T. Example format: TYour34CharacterTRONAddress1234. If an address starts with 0x, it is an Ethereum (ERC20) address — do not use it for TRC20 withdrawals.
How to Find Your TRC20 Address
In Trust Wallet: open the app, select USDT, tap Receive, and make sure TRON (TRC20) is selected as the network. In Binance: go to Wallet > Deposit > search USDT > select TRC20. The address shown will be your TRC20 deposit address beginning with T.
How to Verify an Address
Always use the QR code scan feature when available — it eliminates human error. If you must copy-paste, verify at least the first 5 and last 5 characters after pasting. Many exchanges also offer an Address Book feature where you can save verified addresses for repeat use.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Never send TRC20 USDT to an ERC20 (0x) address — funds will not arrive and recovery is costly. Never send to a BEP20 (BSC) address by mistake. Always double-check the network label shown by your exchange matches the destination wallet. A single wrong network selection can lock your funds permanently.
What If You Sent to the Wrong Address?
If you sent TRC20 USDT to an ERC20-only platform like Coinbase, contact their support immediately. Some exchanges have asset recovery tools but charge significant fees (often 5–10% of the amount) and may take 1–3 months. Prevention is far better than recovery.
